    home and garden, music, health and beauty, PC's, gifts and more.
  • Bookfinder This site is especially good for a rare class of book.
  • BidFind These robots scour online auctions, if you are seeking collectibles or used goods.
  • CNet Shopper According to PC World, the merchants are reputable from these search engine since it controls which merchants appear in its database, but it may return fewer matches.
Charity and Nonprofit Information
  • GuideStar.Org allows you to contact people with nonprofit information.
  • NJ Charitable Registration Directory lists all charities registered in New Jersey.
  • Give.Org (BBB Wise Giving Alliance) "The BBB Wise Giving Alliance (the Alliance) helps donors make informed giving decisions and advances high standards of conduct among organizations that solicit contributions from the public."

  • Fair Credit Report  (from the web site of New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs) "As a result of

  • PM (Popular Mechanics) is the web version of Popular Mechanics.

  • Consumer Alerts!, from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
  • Consumer Product Safety Commission is a government web site. CPSC works to save lives and keep families safe by reducing the risk of injuries and deaths associated with consumer products.consumer product safety.
  • FirstGovForConsumers has "a broad range of federal information resources available online. It is
    designed so that you can locate information by category -- such as Food, Health, Product Safety, Your Money, and Transportation. Each category has subcategories to direct you to areas within individual federal web sites containing related information."
  • National Fraud Information Center gives advice on how to report fraud, and more.
