The Reference Department provides
assistance to patrons in their search for information on any and
all subjects! Questions are welcomed in person, by telephone or e-mail
form . Information may be faxed to Livingston
residents.
In addition to books and periodicals, our collection includes electronic
databases, local history materials and
Internet access. We are a part of BCCLS (Bergen
County Cooperative Library System), through which we
share resources with 73 other libraries. Anyone who has
a computer with Internet access can view our online
catalog from home. If you have
any questions, please contact us at (973) 992-4600 ext.
240.
Besides our service, the Q
and A NJ Project of the South Jersey Regional Library
Cooperative offers free, live, online reference service to
quickly answer your questions via Internet chat with the
ability to send web sites and other information directly
to your computer. New
Jersey Resources also links to many NJ sites for you
to browse.
